How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role - Recruitment Account Manager (SEN Education)

    As a Recruitment Account Manager, you will work alongside a top-performing consultant on a warm, established SEN desk. You'll support specialist schools, alternative provisions, SEND departments and local authorities by providing high-quality teaching and support staff who make a real impact on the lives of children and young people with additional needs.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    Managing client accounts and filling daily, long-term and permanent SEN vacancies
    Building strong relationships with SEN schools, specialist provisions and education professionals
    Sourcing, interviewing and supporting candidates seeking rewarding SEND opportunities
    Delivering exceptional service to ensure high levels of client and candidate satisfaction
    Supporting vulnerable children and young people by matching them with outstanding education professionals
    Growing existing accounts and generating repeat business through excellent service delivery
    Ensuring all safeguarding and compliance processes are completed to the highest standardWhat We're Looking For

    To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

    Recruitment, sales, account management or customer-facing experience (preferred but not essential)
    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
    A resilient, target-driven and proactive mindset
    Commercial awareness and a desire to develop a successful career
    The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    Drive, ambition and a genuine passion for helping others succeed
