How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We’re seeking an experienced Temporary Electrics Package Manager to manage all aspects of temporary electrical systems for a major construction development. This key role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing installation and maintenance to ensure power supply and safety standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. If you have strong technical knowledge of temporary electrical systems and thrive in a fast-paced project environment, this is an outstanding opportunity to make an impact.

    Responsibilities
    Plan and manage the design, installation, and maintenance of temporary electrical systems on site
    Ensure compliance with technical standards, health and safety regulations, and project-specific requirements
    Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and design consultants to align activities with project milestones
    Monitor and maintain temporary electrics to support uninterrupted construction activities
    Regularly inspect installations and implement corrective measures where required
    Manage budgets, materials, and resources effectively to deliver on time and within cost
    Provide technical guidance and ensure proper certification and documentation for all systemsMust-have Requirements
    Electrical trade qualification or relevant engineering degree
    Demonstrable experience managing temporary electrical installations for construction projects
    Strong understanding of BS 7671 and associated regulations
    Experience with site planning, logistics, and integration of temporary electrical services
