Shifts -4 on 4 off rotating on days and nightshift available
Responsibilities
* Operate machinery and equipment used for sorting, crushing, or compacting recyclable materials with precision and safety.
* Perform heavy lifting tasks to move, load, or unload recyclable items throughout the facility.
* Conduct routine inspections of recycling lines and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety standards are met.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area to promote a safe working environment.
* Follow all health and safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Assist with the identification and separation of different types of recyclable materials to facilitate efficient processing.
* Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities and maintaining a positive, energetic attitude.
Requirements
* Previous mechanical knowledge or experience operating industrial machinery is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively as part of daily tasks.
* Physically fit with the stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures at all times.
* Willingness to learn new skills related to recycling processes and equipment operation.
