Working within the Asset Management team, you'll lead on the management, development and reporting of property asset data to support investment planning, capital works programmes and asset performance. Reporting to the Asset Performance Lead, you'll manage a team of five and play a key role in ensuring asset management decisions are driven by accurate, reliable data and robust business intelligence.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Asset Information team, including two Data Officers, one Administrator and two Stock Condition Surveyors.
Take ownership of property asset data, ensuring its accuracy, integrity and quality.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and management information using SQL, VBA and Power BI.
Manage and maintain asset management databases, including Keystone.
Produce 5-year business plans, 30-year asset investment plans and planned works programmes.
Support the development and delivery of short, medium and long-term asset management strategies.
Develop investment programmes using NPV modelling and scenario analysis.
Collect, validate, analyse and interpret asset data to support business decision making.
Manage stock condition data and ensure survey information is accurately recorded and maintained.
Monitor data quality and implement controls to mitigate data integrity risks.
Support the delivery of capital investment, compliance and repairs programmes through effective data management.
Train and support staff in accessing and using asset information systems.
Contribute to the implementation of new asset management and housing management systems.
Produce performance reports and intelligence for senior management and operational teams.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing asset data within a social housing environment.
Strong experience using Keystone Asset Management software.
Advanced skills in SQL, VBA, Excel and Power BI.
Experience producing long-term financial plans, business plans and planned investment programmes.
Strong understanding of asset management, stock condition data and property investment planning.
Experience managing and developing staff within a data or asset management team.
Excellent analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
Experience developing dashboards, management information and performance reporting.
Understanding of social housing asset management and regulatory requirements.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to competing deadlines.
Relevant qualification or significant experience in a similar asset data management role
