EHS Campus Lead | Berlin, Germany | Data Centre
Salter Grange is recruiting an experienced EHS Campus Lead for a major data centre project in Berlin, Germany.
This is a senior opportunity to lead Environmental, Health & Safety across a large-scale data centre campus, working closely with the project leadership team, contractors and client to maintain the highest EHS standards.
EHS Campus Lead Key Responsibilities
- Lead EHS strategy and delivery across the data centre campus.
- Manage and develop the EHS team and site safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with German legislation, client requirements and project EHS standards.
- Oversee risk assessments, method statements, permits and safe systems of work.
- Lead site inspections, audits, investigations and corrective actions.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor EHS performance.
- Develop and deliver EHS training, toolbox talks and safety campaigns.
- Track EHS KPIs, trends and performance and provide regular reporting.
- Work closely with Project Directors, Construction Managers and client representatives.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure all EHS issues are effectively closed out.
EHS Campus Lead Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an EHS Manager, EHS Lead, EHS Campus Lead or similar senior role.
- Strong experience within data centre, mission-critical or major construction projects.
- Experience managing EHS across large-scale construction sites or campuses.
- Strong knowledge of construction Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
- Experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary EHS teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong incident investigation, auditing and risk management experience.
- Ability to operate confidently in a fast-paced, high-pressure project environment.
