How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    twentytwentyone has been established for over 25 years as one of London’s foremost retailers of classic and contemporary design. Supplying furniture, lighting and accessories from world-leading designers and manufacturers.


    We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented E-Commerce Content Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a flair for copywriting. You will play a key role in ensuring that website content is accurate, optimised, and engaging.

    With a keen eye for design and a problem-solving mindset, you'll collaborate closely with the wider e-commerce team and work effectively across departments in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


    37.5 Hours, working 5 days per week, Monday - Friday, 9.15am to 5.45pm.

    On-site, based at our River Street shworoom.


    Key responsibilities:


    Content and administration

    • Upload new product ranges, ensuring all products are accurately presented, with SEO-friendly, informative copy that improves visibility and drives traffic.
    • Maintain accuracy of the entire online catalogue, monitor stock levels and deliveries, and implement new pricelists.
    • Assisting in the visual merchandising of collections and edits.
    • Provide a high level of communication regarding orders and enquiries between customers, suppliers and colleagues.


    Sales and customer service 

    • Communicate with customers in a confident and friendly manner, responding to customer emails, telephone queries and web chat enquiries and complaints in a professional, timely and well-informed manner.
    • Support the Customer Services team.


    The ideal candidate will have: 

    • An enthusiasm for design, twentytwentyone, and our products 
    • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy 
    • Familiarity with Shopify or a similar CMS is desirable 
    • Excellent written English - copywriting experience is essential. 
    • Strong computer skills, including Photoshop 
    • An intrinsic understanding of customer service 
    • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills 
    • Experience in selling high-end, made-to-order furniture/lighting would be an advantage.
