How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN HLTA (Autism ARP) - Streatham, Lambeth
    Location: Streatham, Lambeth
    Position: SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
    Start Date: ASAP
    Contract: Long-Term, Full-Time
    Salary: Competitive rates, dependent on experience
    SEN HLTA Required - Autism Resource Provision Pertemps Education Network is working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Streatham, Lambeth, seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their Autism Resource Provision (ARP) on a long-term basis.
    This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HLTA who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and is looking to make a meaningful impact within a specialist setting.
    The Role The successful candidate will take responsibility for a small class of five pupils aged 4 to 5 years old within the school's Autism Resource Provision. The children are in the Reception age group and have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
    You will be responsible for leading the classroom, supporting pupils' learning and development, and working closely with teaching staff and SEN professionals to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
    The role will also involve assisting with personal care where required.
    Key Responsibilities
    Lead and support a small class of Reception-aged pupils with Autism.
    Deliver engaging learning activities tailored to individual needs.
    Support pupils with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
    Assist with personal care and promote independence.
    Work closely with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs.
    Monitor and record pupil progress.
    Create a nurturing, safe, and structured learning environment.Requirements
    HLTA qualification or significant experience working at HLTA level.
    Previous experience supporting children with Autism (ASC).
    Experience working within a primary school or specialist SEN setting.
    Comfortable supporting pupils with personal care needs.
    Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
