How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Data Contract Administrator - 6 Month Temp Project

£27,600 per annum equivalent (£14.36 per hour) | Hybrid | Huddersfield (HD6 area)

We're currently recruiting for a Data Contract Administrator to join a growing business based in the Huddersfield area, supporting their team with a mixture of contract administration, data management and high-volume data input.

This is a particularly exciting time to join the business, as they are currently going through a period of growth and are expecting another significant push before the end of the year. As a result, there is a real possibility that this role could extend beyond the initial 6-month contract as the business continues to grow.

We're open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, but this could be a particularly good opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with some previous office/admin experience who is confident working with data, comfortable using Excel and keen to develop their career within a growing business.

The role is largely remote working, with only around 1-2 days per month required in the office, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a genuinely flexible hybrid position - Ideally the company would like someone in a commutable distance within the surrounding area though in case this were to change in the future or the travel element were to develop.

    What will you be doing?

As a Data Contract Administrator, you'll play an important role in ensuring contract information is accurately entered, maintained and up to date across the company's systems.

    You'll be responsible for:

Accurately inputting, updating and verifying contract data across company databases and systems
Managing high volumes of data while maintaining a consistently high level of accuracy
Carrying out checks to ensure data is complete, accurate and meets company standards
Identifying and correcting any errors or discrepancies within the data
Working closely with the Sales and Operations Teams to resolve any inaccuracies or queries
Supporting the wider team with effective data management and administration
Ensuring contract information is maintained correctly and efficiently
Working independently to manage your workload and meet agreed deadlinesWhat are we looking for?

We're open to candidates from a range of backgrounds for this position. Previous experience in data entry or administration would be beneficial, but we're particularly interested in finding someone who has the right approach and is confident working with data.

    We're looking for:

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Good Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data
The ability to work independently, manage your own workload and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different teams
A willingness and ability to learn new systems and processes
Previous experience in data entry or a similar administrative role would be beneficial
Experience using CRM, ERP, SAP, Protean or other database management systems would be desirableThis could be a particularly good opportunity for a recent graduate with strong Excel skills who is looking to begin their career in an administrative/data-focused role, or someone with some previous office experience who is looking for their next step.

    What's in it for you?

This is a great opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of its growth and gain valuable experience across data management, contract administration, Excel and business systems.

With further growth expected before the end of the year, there is also a strong possibility of the position continuing beyond the initial 6-month contract, depending on the needs and growth of the business.
