How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Lecturer in Early Years

    Salisbury

    £29,294 per year, pro rata £40,814 per year, pro rata (Depending on Skills and Qualifications)

    We’re looking for a passionate Lecturer in Early Years to join our team at Salisbury Campus on a fixed-term maternity cover contract for one year.

    What We Offer

    Salary:

    Unqualified Lecturer: £29,294 per year, pro rata

    Qualified Lecturer: £31,885 – £40,814 per year, pro rata (Depending on Skills, Qualifications & Experience)

    Contract Type: Fixed Term Maternity Cover 1 year, Part Time 22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

    What You’ll Do

    * Teach and assess learners across Level 1, 2 and T Level programmes, where appropriate

    * Deliver engaging, practical and industry-focused lessons

    * Develop learners’ knowledge of child development, safeguarding, wellbeing and early years practice

    * Support learners to achieve qualifications and progress into employment, apprenticeships or higher education

    * Share your professional Early Years knowledge and real-world experience

    * Help learners build confidence, professionalism and ambition

    * Prepare learners for successful careers working with children and families

    * Contribute to an inclusive, supportive and inspiring learning environment

    What You’ll Bring

    * A Level 3+ qualification and/or significant experience in Early Years, Childcare, Early Education or a related subject

    * Strong Early Years knowledge and practical professional experience

    * An understanding of child development, safeguarding and current Early Years practice

    * The ability to engage, motivate and support learners

    * A passion for practical, inclusive and industry-relevant learning

    * A Level 4 teaching qualification is welcomed, but not essential
