How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - WREXHAM

    Are you an experienced Facilities Maintenance Engineer, Facilities Engineer, Site Facilities & Maintenance Engineer, Site Services Engineer, Site Engineer or Plant & Facilities Engineer seeking a job within the Wrexham area?!

    We are looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Wrexham, this is a day shift position Monday to Friday (39 hours per week), and the salary is up to £50,000 per annum (DOE).

    Whilst the primary focus of this role will be maintaining facilities and building services, you may also be needed to help out with other day to day maintenance issues that arise across a manufacturing site.

    Previous experience from within the Manufacturing sector is ESSENTIAL

    What You Will Do:

    Carry out general facilities and building maintenance across the manufacturing site, keeping equipment and work areas in safe, working order.
    Respond to day-to-day maintenance needs such as plumbing tasks, leak repairs, and basic infrastructure fixes.
    Support planned checks and minor repairs to prevent issues from impacting production.
    Maintain a tidy, compliant working environment by following site procedures and safety requirements.
    Work with internal teams to understand priorities and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
    Escalate more complex faults appropriately, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
    What You Will Bring:

    Experience in general maintenance or facilities/building support within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    Practical skills covering everyday repairs, including plumbing and leak fixing.
    A calm, proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
