Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor | Energy | Ayrshire

I’m currently working with a multi-million-pound energy business that is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and support the delivery of a major project in Ayrshire.

The Role

This is a predominantly site-based Quantity Surveyor position, working closely with the project, engineering and commercial teams to manage the financial and contractual performance of the project.

You’ll be involved across the full commercial lifecycle, including cost management, valuations, variations, forecasting, reporting and subcontract management.

The Ideal Candidate

* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor

* Experience within civil or electrical engineering is preferred

* Background within energy, infrastructure, construction or engineering would be advantageous

* Experience working with NEC and/or FIDIC contracts

* Strong commercial and cost management skills

* Experience managing subcontractors and project costs

* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills

* Comfortable working in a site-based project environment
