How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Account Manager – Stone Fruit & Kiwi

    Location: Paddock Wood
    Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE
    Contract: Permanent
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

    About the Role

    Our Client is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Account Manager – Stone Fruit & Kiwi to join their Fresh Produce division. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional with experience in fresh produce, food, or FMCG to take ownership of key customer relationships and help drive category growth across a dynamic supply chain.

    As Account Manager, you will manage the day-to-day commercial and operational relationship between retailers and an international network of growers. Acting as the key link between supply and demand, you will ensure customer requirements are met while maintaining strong grower partnerships and delivering excellent service levels.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Manage retailer accounts, ensuring excellent service and strong commercial performance.

    * Act as the key point of contact between retailers, growers, and internal teams.

    * Monitor volumes, profitability, availability, forecast accuracy, waste, and OTIF performance.

    * Identify risks and opportunities using sales, financial, market, and competitor data.

    * Resolve supply, quality, and service issues effectively.

    * Support commercial negotiations and deliver clear forecasting and performance reporting.

    * Work closely with buying, technical, supply chain, and product development teams.

    * Support category planning, range reviews, and seasonal programmes.

    * Lead new product development initiatives from concept through to launch.

    * Collaborate with growers on new varieties, packaging innovations, and sustainability projects.

    About You

    * Experience in account management, commercial, or customer service roles within fresh produce, food, or FMCG.

    * Strong understanding of fresh produce supply chains and retailer requirements.

    * Experience working with major UK retailers is advantageous.

    * Strong commercial awareness and confidence working with financial and sales data.

    * Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

    * Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

    * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.

    * Proactive, resilient, customer-focused, and collaborative.
