An established M&E contractor is currently looking for an experienced
Duct Fitter / Duct Installation Engineer
to join a commercial project in London on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled duct fitter who is available immediately and has solid experience working on commercial mechanical and ventilation installations.
The Role
You will be responsible for the installation and fitting of ventilation and ductwork systems, working as part of an experienced site team.
Duties will include:
Installation and fitting of ductwork systems
Working from drawings and specifications
Installing galvanised and associated ductwork
Supporting general mechanical and ventilation installation works
Ensuring installations are completed safely and to a high standard
Working efficiently alongside other trades on site
Maintaining good housekeeping and site safety standards
Requirements
Proven experience as a
Duct Fitter / Duct Installation Engineer
Good knowledge of commercial ductwork installation
Ability to read and work from drawings
Valid CSCS card required
IPAF or other relevant site tickets advantageous
Own tools and PPE
Good understanding of site health & safety requirements
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
