How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Applications open now | Interviews: January 2027 | Start Date: September 2027

Are you ready to launch your career with a global business at the heart of the oil industry?

Q8 Aviation is looking for an ambitious, commercially minded graduate to join their first three-year Graduate Scheme, designed to develop the next generation of leaders within their business. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to multiple disciplines, work alongside experienced industry professionals and build a long-term career within a global energy organisation.

    About Q8 Aviation

Q8 Aviation is one of the world's leading aviation fuel suppliers, serving more than 75 airports globally and supplying fuel to over 200 airlines worldwide. As the aviation specialist business of Kuwait Petroleum International, Q8 Aviation benefits from the strength, scale and security of a fully integrated global energy organisation.

Q8 Aviation supplies jet fuel across commercial, cargo, military and general aviation sectors, supporting thousands of aircraft movements every day.

Their Woking headquarters plays a critical role in supporting aviation customers across the EMEA region, partnering with airports, airlines and fuel infrastructure operators. Beyond EMEA, Q8 Aviation forms part of the wider Kuwait Petroleum International network, which operates across Europe and internationally as the refining and marketing arm of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, one of the world's largest oil and energy groups.

    Why Join This Graduate Scheme?

This is more than a graduate role. It is a structured development programme designed to provide broad business exposure while helping you discover where your strengths and interests lie.

Over three years, you'll complete rotational placements across key business functions, gaining hands-on experience and building the commercial, analytical and leadership skills needed for a successful career. One of your placements is expected to be within Supply, while your remaining rotations may be within Sales & Marketing, Business Development or other areas of the business, depending on organisational priorities and development opportunities. This flexible approach is designed to provide a broad understanding of the business and help you identify where your strengths and interests are best suited.

At the end of the programme, the aim will be to transition into a permanent role within one of the areas you've worked in, providing both long-term career prospects and a clear pathway for progression.

    • Dedicated managers within each placement
    • Support from an experienced mentor
    • Regular development discussions with HR and business leaders
    • Exposure to senior stakeholders across the UK, EMEA and global business
