Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the senior leadership team, the Head of People will be responsible for establishing a modern, scalable people function capable of supporting a growing and increasingly complex PE-backed business
The successful candidate will:
- Professionalise and modernise the people function
- Introduce scalable people processes, systems and policies
- Lead, coach and develop the HR team
- Support acquisition integration and organisational change programmes
- Develop and embed culture, values and employee engagement initiatives
- Enhance leadership capability across the organisation
- Build the foundations required to support continued growth and future acquisitions
- Ensure the organisation attracts, develops and retains high-performing talent
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on people strategy

Essential experience
- Significant experience supporting a field-based, operational or blue-collar workforce.
- Proven success partnering with leaders managing frontline employees across multiple sites or locations.
- Strong understanding of the people challenges associated with operational workforces, including engagement, attendance, retention, employee relations and performance management.
- Experience gained within sectors such as facilities management, engineering services, construction, utilities, manufacturing, logistics, transport, maintenance or other operationally intensive environments like retail.
This job is site based, at least four days per week, ideally five. The office is based in South-East London with parking on site and good rail connections.
