About the role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and personable Team Assistant to join our Planning & Development team at Newmark, based in our Mortimer Street office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, professional environment and is looking to provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to a collaborative team.
Please note: this is a 12-month fixed-term contract and is intended to be for one year only. The successful candidate will be required to work five days per week, Monday to Friday, with three days each week working from our Mortimer Street office.
Key responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day administrative and organisational support to the Planning & Development team
- Managing diaries, arranging meetings and coordinating appointments
- Organising internal and external meetings, including room bookings and refreshments where required
- Assisting with preparation of documents, presentations, reports and correspondence
- Coordinating travel arrangements and expenses
- Maintaining accurate records and team information
- Assisting with team events and other administrative requirements
- Supporting the wider team with ad hoc projects and tasks as required
- Acting as a professional and welcoming point of contact for colleagues, clients and external contacts
About you

- Previous experience in an administrative or team assistant role would be advantageous
Working arrangements
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract only, with an ideal start date of 5 October 2026.
The role is based on a Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm working week. The successful candidate will be expected to work three days per week from our Mortimer Street office, with the remaining two days able to be worked remotely in line with the team's working arrangements.
This role is specifically a one-year contract and should not be considered a permanent position.
