Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Mechanical Engineer (HVAC / Plumbing)

Location: City of London

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding across a range of mechanical building services systems, including HVAC and plumbing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and associated building services plant.

* Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime.

* Monitor and maintain critical building systems.

* Support HVAC, UPS, generators, LV systems and other M&E equipment.

* Update maintenance records and CAFM systems accurately.

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.

* Supervise specialist subcontractors when required.

* Build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.

* 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

* Previous experience in commercial building maintenance, facilities management or building services.

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

* Good communication skills and customer-focused approach.

* Experience working on critical or corporate environments would be advantageous.
