Job Title: Injection Mould Supervisor (Night Shift)

Shift: 17:45 to 06:00

Location: Cambridgeshire

Salary: £47,0000 (plus attendance bonus- up to £49,500)

We are looking for an experienced Injection Mould Supervisor to lead our clients night shift operations within the Plastics department. This is a hands-on supervisory role, ideal for someone with strong injection moulding knowledge who is experienced in overseeing production, supporting operators, monitoring performance, and ensuring the shift runs safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

As the Injection Mould Supervisor, you will:

Supervising the night shift production team to ensure production targets, quality standards and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved.
Monitoring production performance and escalating machine, tooling or process issues to minimise downtime and maintain efficiency.
Supporting, coaching and training operators on machine settings, production processes and quality expectations.
Carrying out routine production checks and ensuring all quality records, shift handovers and production paperwork are completed accurately.
Promoting a positive, organised and safety-focused working environment across the department.
Working closely with technical and management teams to ensure production plans are delivered effectively.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste and increase overall production efficiency.
Leading by example and providing support and guidance to the wider production team throughout the shifts
The Ideal Candidate We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

Previous supervisory experience within an injection moulding manufacturing environment.
A strong technical understanding of injection moulding processes, machinery and production requirements.
Experience supporting operators, improving performance and maintaining production efficiency.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions and escalate issues where required.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and reducing downtime.
Good communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Experience completing production documentation and maintaining accurate records.
A strong understanding of health & safety procedures within a manufacturing environment.
A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
