How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when working on customer sites.
Follow all relevant health and safety procedures, manufacturer guidelines and company policies.
Ensure the correct PPE is used at all times.
Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment.
    The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced, time-served Service Engineer / Technician with a proven track record of working on modern machinery.

    You will have:

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with the ability to analyse symptoms and identify the root cause of problems.
Experience working with modern electrical and hydraulic systems.
Good knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
Experience using diagnostic equipment, machine software and fault-code systems.
Previous experience working on groundcare, agricultural, horticultural, construction or similar machinery.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Good IT and digital reporting skills.
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to fault finding and repairs.
The ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
A proactive approach, with the ability to think on your feet and use initiative when resolving technical issues.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider Service Team.
    A professional and customer-focused attitude.
    A full UK driving licence.
    Desirable Experience
