Exam Invigilators

P+S Recruitment are seeking reliable, responsible and professional Exam Invigilators to support schools and colleges during examination periods. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible temporary work within an educational environment.

Main Responsibilities:

* Supervise examinations in accordance with school and examination board regulations.

* Ensure examination rooms are prepared and set up correctly.

* Check students' identities and ensure they are seated according to the examination plan.

* Distribute and collect examination papers and materials.

* Explain examination instructions clearly to students.

* Monitor students throughout examinations and maintain a calm and quiet environment.

* Ensure examination rules and procedures are followed at all times.

* Report any incidents, concerns or irregularities to the appropriate member of staff.

* Maintain accurate records of attendance and examination incidents.

* Assist with the secure handling and storage of examination materials.

Person Specification:

* Reliable, punctual and professional.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Able to remain calm and focused for extended periods.

* Strong communication skills.

* Confident and professional when working with students.

* Able to follow instructions and examination procedures accurately.

* Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

* Good organisational skills.

* Flexible and able to work as part of a team.

* Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator or within an education setting is desirable but not essential.
