How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join a well-established construction and fit-out business, supporting multiple live projects.

This is a key role within the Operations team, responsible for ensuring project information is accurately controlled, distributed and maintained, so that site teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients are always working from the latest approved information.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Manage drawings, specifications, technical submittals, reports and project documentation.

    * Maintain document registers, revision controls and drawing issue sheets.

    * Administer project information through Procore and other document management systems.

    * Issue current information to site teams and the supply chain.

    * Track RFIs, approvals and outstanding documentation.

    * Maintain Health & Safety, quality and compliance records.

    * Coordinate O&M manuals and handover documentation at project completion.

    * Support Project Managers and wider Operations with reporting and administration.

    * Ensure projects remain audit-ready and compliant with document control procedures.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

    * 2+ years' experience in document control, project administration or a similar role.

    * Construction, fit-out or related industry experience.

    * Strong knowledge of document control, revisions, registers and transmittals.

    * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

    * Strong Microsoft Office/365 skills, particularly Excel.

    * Experience with Procore or a similar construction management platform would be highly advantageous.

    * Experience with O&M manuals and handover documentation is desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive Document Controller looking to join a growing construction business where you will play a key role in supporting successful project delivery.
