How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Location : London
    Role : Air Conditioning Engineer

    * up to £60,000pa ( £28.84 per hour )

    * 40 hour on site hours

    * 2 hours travel paid in salary then overtime rate after for travel or onsite

    * 23 days holiday

    * buy or sell 2 days

    * 1 in 6 on call with 4hrs paid and door to door ( £100 standby )

    * Saturdays and Sunday overtime paid 10 hrs no matter what

    As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Maintain, and repair a variety of air conditioning systems, including split units, central AC, ductless systems, and commercial HVAC equipment.

    * Conduct site visits and assess client requirements to determine the most suitable air conditioning solutions.

    * Collaborate with clients and provide expert advice on system selection, energy efficiency, and optimal performance.

    * Perform regular maintenance tasks, including cleaning filters, inspecting components, and testing system functionality to ensure peak performance and longevity.

    * Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and implementing appropriate solutions in a timely manner.

    * Adhere to industry regulations and safety guidelines, ensuring all work is conducted to the highest standards.

    * Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

    * Keep up-to-date with industry advancements, attending training sessions and staying informed about new products and technologies
