Sous Chef

We are looking for a passionate, reliable and guest focused Sous Chef to support the smooth running of the kitchen and help deliver fresh, nutritious and beautifully presented meals in a high end hospitality environment. Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team, you'll play a key role in menu development, maintaining the highest food hygiene standards, supporting and developing the team, and creating memorable dining experiences for every guest.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef to be part of a very relaxed and unique location that you can be proud of, where your food and dishes play a massive part in the guests experience and overall stay within the resort. You'll be working with all fresh ingredients and will also have opportunities to spend face to face time with guests, allowing you to share your passion for healthy food, fresh ingredients and great cooking.

As Sous Chef, you'll be an important part of the kitchen leadership team, helping to organise and motivate the team, maintain consistently high standards and ensure the kitchen runs efficiently. You'll have the opportunity to bring your ideas to the table and make a real contribution to the food offering.

This Sous Chef role also offers an incredible work-life balance within the hospitality sector, with 2 weekends off a month, no late finishes and a 42 hour week that is actually a 42 hour week.

What we're looking for:

Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef or experienced Chef ready to take the next step
Experience within a quality catering or hospitality environment
A genuine passion for healthy, nutritious food and excellent presentation
Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills
The ability to support, motivate and develop a kitchen team
Excellent knowledge of food hygiene, kitchen safety and HACCP standards
A professional, positive attitude with outstanding customer service
The ability to maintain high standards while working in a relaxed and welcoming environmentWhat you'll enjoy:
