This school supports pupils aged 9-14 with mild SEN needs, including those moving up from primary school this year. If you're patient, nurturing, and able to help students feel secure as they adjust to this new stage, we'd like to hear from you.
About the Role
Working as a Teaching Assistant through Tradewind, you'll help pupils build confidence and reach their potential. The role involves one-to-one and small-group support, putting behaviour strategies into practice, and helping create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting students with ASD or behavioural needs, both in lessons and during other activities
Helping deliver individual learning and behaviour plans
Encouraging emotional regulation, self-confidence, and independence
Working alongside teachers and colleagues to support inclusive learningWhat We're Looking For
Some background supporting children or young people with additional needs, whether through work or personal experience

A current DBS check, or willingness to apply for one via TradewindWhat You Can Expect
Day rates of £90-£100, depending on experience
