Structural Engineer

London | £30,000 to £36,000 | Permanent | Hybrid

If you're an early-career Structural Engineer looking to build your experience across residential and refurbishment projects, this could be a great next step.

We're looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer with around 2 to 3 years' experience to join an established consultancy, working from either its London Bridge or Orpington office.

You'll get hands-on involvement in live projects while continuing to develop your technical design and modelling experience.

What you'll be doing

Working across residential and refurbishment projects
Supporting the design of concrete frame structures
Carrying out structural analysis and FEA modelling
Contributing to cladding and structural design packages
Producing calculations and technical information
Working alongside experienced Structural Engineers on project deliveryWhat we're looking for

Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
Around 2 to 3 years' structural engineering experience
Experience with residential and refurbishment projects
Exposure to concrete frame design
Experience with FEA modelling
Knowledge of Tekla, Tedds and Revit
An interest in continuing to develop technically within consultancyThe opportunity

This is a permanent position paying £30,000 to £36,000, depending on experience.

You'll have a hybrid working arrangement, typically spending 2 to 3 days per week in the office, with the choice of London Bridge or Orpington.
