Electrical Design Engineer

London | £65 to £70 per hour | Inside IR35 | 12-Month Contract | Hybrid

If you're an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking for a long-term contract on complex data centre projects, this is worth a look.

We're looking for an Engineer who can bring strong technical design experience into a multidisciplinary Building Services environment. Data centre experience would be ideal, but we're equally interested in Engineers who have delivered other large-scale, technically complex projects.

What you'll be doing

Delivering electrical design across complex Building Services projects
Supporting the design and delivery of data centre developments
Producing calculations, specifications and technical design information
Coordinating with Mechanical and wider multidisciplinary teams
Supporting projects through detailed design stages
Contributing technical expertise to project and design decisionsWhat we're looking for

Strong Electrical Building Services design experience
Experience delivering large-scale, technically complex projects
Data centre experience is highly desirable
A strong consultancy or multidisciplinary design background
Confidence working within collaborative project teams
Chartered status is preferredThe opportunity

This is a 12-month contract, offering considerably more security than a typical short-term assignment, with hybrid working in London.

The role pays £65 to £70 per hour, Inside IR35 and gives you the opportunity to work on major data centre projects within an established multidisciplinary engineering environment.
