Contractor Escort

Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for Contractor Escorts to work at HMP Garth on an ongoing temporary contract.This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a secure environment while supporting the delivery of essential maintenance and construction projects across the prison estate.

The Role

As a Contractor Escort, you will be responsible for escorting contractors and visitors throughout the prison site, ensuring all security procedures are followed at all times.Your duties will include:

Escorting contractors to and from designated work areas
Monitoring contractor activities within the establishment
Maintaining accurate records and movement logs
Ensuring compliance with prison security procedures
Reporting any incidents, concerns, or breaches of protocol
Assisting site management with the coordination of contractor access
Promoting a safe and secure working environmentWhat We're Looking For

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain professional in a secure environment
Good attention to detail
Reliable and punctual approach to work
Previous experience in security, facilities, construction, customer service, or a similar role is advantageous but not essential
Ability to pass prison security vettingWhat's on Offer

£15.45 per hour
Ongoing contract with consistent hours
Monday to Friday working pattern
Weekly pay through Hays
