The Role
As a Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the prison estate, ensuring all plumbing systems are maintained to a high standard and remain fully operational.
Key duties will include:
Carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance works
Diagnosing and rectifying faults on water systems and sanitary ware
Installation and replacement of plumbing fixtures and fittings
Responding to reactive maintenance requests
Completing planned preventative maintenance tasks
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with relevant regulations
Maintaining accurate records of work completedWhat You'll Need
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities environment
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of health and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence is desirableWhat's on Offer
