Revolve Collective is recruiting a confident, reliable Cover Supervisor for a full-time, ongoing role in a welcoming secondary school in the Burton-on-Trent area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, sports coach, graduate, or aspiring teacher looking for consistent, full-time school work. The successful Cover Supervisor will be required to supervise pre-planned lessons across the curriculum and support PE cover when needed.
The role starts Monday and is expected to continue until Christmas, with the possibility of extension beyond Christmas for the right Cover Supervisor.
It's a Monday-Friday position, working within one school in Burton-upon-Trent. If you are unable to commit full-time, but seeking flexible work with Burton then I am still interested in talking with you.
The Role
* Full-time Cover Supervisor position, Monday to Friday
* Deliver pre-set work across a range of secondary subjects
* Maintain a calm, focused and positive learning environment
* Cover PE lessons when required
* Manage behaviour confidently and consistently in line with school expectations
* Build positive working relationships with students and staff
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, sports coach, tutor, youth worker or similar
* Excellent behaviour management and confidence working independently in the classroom
* The ability to engage secondary-age students and keep lessons on track
* Full-time availability and commitment to an ongoing role
* A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
