How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Primary School SEN Teacher
    Location: Streatham, Lambeth Pay: £214 - £277 per day (dependent on experience) + SEN Allowance Start Date: September 2026 Interviews: Taking place ASAP
    SEN Teacher Required | Primary School | Streatham, Lambeth Pertemps Education Network is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Streatham, Lambeth, in their search for a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN specialist or a teacher with a strong interest in supporting children with additional needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality teaching and learning for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, helping every child to reach their full potential.
    The Role As an SEN Teacher, you will:

    Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
    Support pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning difficulties.
    Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
    Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, external agencies, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
    Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where required.
    Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
    Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs within a primary school setting.
    Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach.
