Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a Packer / Material Handler to join a busy manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for handling materials, preparing customer orders and ensuring products are packed and ready for shipment.

Working Monday to Thursday, 6:30am - 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities

Locate and pick materials and supplies from production orders
Load and unload pallets and individual cartons from vehicles
Pack and label finished stock and customer orders ready for dispatch
Follow company procedures relating to packing, material handling, quality and safety
Work as part of a team or independently to meet daily targets
Move between different workstations as required
Keep the working area clean, tidy and safe
Carry out other duties as requiredRequirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to read and follow information accurately
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of stock or inventory control is advantageous
Physically able to lift and move heavy materials
Forklift experience would be beneficial, but full training can be providedAdditional Information
