Academics are recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil within a primary school in Leighton Buzzard.
This is an opportunity for a patient, resilient and emotionally intelligent SEN Teaching Assistant who understands that progress can look different for every child.

Rather than supporting a whole class, you'll provide consistent 1:1 support to a pupil, helping them access learning, develop confidence and engage positively with school life.
The school is an established primary setting in Leighton Buzzard with a supportive staff team and a strong focus on inclusion.
You will work closely with teaching staff and other professionals, helping create a structured and positive environment for the pupil.
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Leighton Buzzard
Pay: £95-£105 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time

You could be a great fit if you have:
Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant
Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
Knowledge of additional learning needs
A patient and nurturing approach
Strong behaviour management skills
The ability to remain calm and consistent
Excellent communication and teamwork skillsExperience supporting children with autism, SEMH, ADHD, communication needs or other additional needs would be particularly valuable.
