We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy School Cleaners to join our team. Successful candidates will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic learning environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Essential Requirements
* Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the DBS Update Service (mandatory).
* Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
* Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
* Understanding of health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
As a School Cleaner, your duties will include:
* Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, meeting rooms, and communal areas.
* Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
* Dusting and wiping down desks, furniture, and touch points.
* Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms, and changing facilities.
* Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
* Replenishing toilet paper, soap, and other hygiene supplies.
* Cleaning internal glass, doors, and windows where required.
* Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns.
* Following cleaning schedules and school hygiene standards.
* Ensuring all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly.
* Assisting with deep cleaning duties during school holidays where required.
