The Role
We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Catering Assistants to join a busy food service operation.
This role would suit candidates who enjoy working as part of a team, can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to maintaining high standards of customer service, food safety, and cleanliness.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and service of meals and beverages.
Ensure food is presented and served to the required standards.
Support the delivery of catering services to customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain cleanliness throughout catering and food service areas.
Wash and sanitise catering equipment, utensils and food preparation areas.
Replenish food, beverages and consumables as required.
Assist with stock control, stock rotation and the storage of deliveries.
Comply with all Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and Infection Prevention policies.
Follow cleaning schedules and maintain accurate records where required.
Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Undertake any other reasonable duties associated with the catering service.
Essential Requirements
Valid Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Manpower can support with this)
A minimum of 2 years catering experience.
Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.
