This role is within the not-for-profit sector, based in Leeds.
Description
Manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
Act as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
Carry out regular property inspections and organise necessary repairs or maintenance.
Handle tenancy agreements, renewals, and terminations in line with policies.
Support tenants with their housing needs, including rent payments and any related concerns.
Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and property conditions.
Work with other departments or external organisations to provide additional support services to tenants.
Ensure compliance with housing regulations and organisational policies.Profile
A successful Housing Officer should have:
Experience in property management or housing-related roles.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with tenants and colleagues.
Good organisational skills to manage multiple properties and tasks efficiently.
An understanding of housing regulations and compliance requirements.
Problem-solving abilities to address tenant issues and property concerns.Job Offer
Hourly rate between £20.00 and £24.00, dependent on the level of experience.
