How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    As a Financial Analyst in the public sector, based in London, you'll be at the heart of managing and interpreting financial data to support decision-making. Your work will help ensure the smooth operation of accounting and finance processes, delivering valuable insights for the organisation.

    Description

    Working closely with asset managers, portfolio teams and senior stakeholders, the Financial Analyst will play a key role in analysing performance, supporting investment decisions and helping to shape the future of a significant real estate portfolio.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Producing accurate and timely financial reporting and management accounts.
    Developing financial models to evaluate leasing transactions, lease regears and new revenue opportunities.
    Delivering insightful analysis of portfolio performance and key business drivers.
    Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with operational and finance stakeholders.
    Partnering with asset management teams to provide commercial insight and strategic support.
    Contributing to finance transformation initiatives, process improvements and system enhancements.
    Supporting wider business planning and decision-making through robust financial analysis.

    Profile

    The successful Financial Analyst will have a commercial mindset and a desire to influence business performance.

    You will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or nearing the end of your studies with experience within commercial finance, financial analysis or management accounting, ideally within a Property/Real Estate setting.

    Strong financial modelling and analytical skills are essential, particularly around cost savings and efficiencies.

    Advanced Excel skills are required alongside excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    Job Offer

    A salary ranging from £68,000 to £72,000, dependent on the level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package.

    The role is hybrid and will require office attendance 3 days a week.
