Complete inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance

Diagnose and repair complex faults

Repair/replace engines, transmissions, brakes,

Attend breakdowns - phone diagnostics, roadside and customer sites
*
Maintain accurate job sheets, inspection reports and parts records
*
Communicate clearly on repair progress, timeframes and parts needed
*
Follow all company safety procedures
Suitable candidates will have:
*
4+ years’ experience as an HGV and/or plant mechanic
*
IRTEC certification
* Welding/fabrication skills
*
Knowledge of hydraulic systems, LOLER and hooklift (RORO) equipment
*
Strong work ethic and reliability
*
Willing to learn and develop
*
Positive, proactive approach
*
High attention to detail
*
Team player with a desire to grow

£50000.00 - £53800.00 per year
