ZETEC are recruiting an experienced Assembly Operative to join an established engineering and manufacturing business based in Wirral.
This is a hands-on role involving specialist assembly, fabrication, inspection and testing of industrial products and components. You will work as part of an experienced production team, ensuring products are completed safely and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Specialist assembly and fabrication of industrial products and components
*
Carrying out hydraulic and pneumatic pressure testing
*
Carrying out product inspection and quality checks
*
Operating production machinery and specialist equipment
*
Using hand and power tools as part of the assembly process
*
Following technical instructions and established manufacturing procedures
*
Completing production and quality documentation
*
Identifying and reporting quality or equipment issues
*
Working to required production and quality standards
*
Supporting continuous improvement activities
*
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
*
Supporting other production activities when required
About You
*
Previous experience within an assembly, engineering, manufacturing or production environment
*
Practical experience using hand tools, power tools or production equipment
*
Good mechanical aptitude
*
Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic equipment would be advantageous
*
Ability to follow technical instructions and work accurately
*
Good understanding of Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment
*
Good attention to detail
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Reliable and organised approach to work
*
Full UK driving licence required
Relevant technical training will be provided, with opportunities to develop additional skills and qualifications.
