How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Therapeutic Team Manager – Supported Living

    Overview

If you are looking to be part of a service that genuinely transforms lives and puts people at the centre of everything it does, Elevate Supported Living could be your next opportunity.

We are seeking caring, motivated, and values-driven Therapeutic Team Leaders who are passionate about supporting vulnerable adults. Whether through professional experience or lived experience, you will bring empathy, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow.

At Elevate, we don’t just provide support – we create environments where people feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.

    About Elevate Supported Living

Elevate provides both standard and enhanced therapeutic supported living services for adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and complex needs.

Our approach is person-centred, therapeutic, trauma-informed, and outcomes-focused, supporting individuals to live as independently as possible. We actively promote pathways into education, employment, training, and social enterprise, helping people build meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Everything we do is guided by our Core Values:

Integrity – We do the right thing, even when no one is watching.
Inclusion – We respect and celebrate individuality.
Accountability – We take ownership and deliver on our commitments.
Innovation – We continuously improve and think creatively.
Service User Focus – We put the people we support at the heart of every decision.

    The Role

As we continue to open new services, we are looking for Team Leaders to join our expanding team and also to support our current provisions. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding business and really put your stamp on a new service.

As a Therapeutic Team Leader, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support through both direct care and preventative approaches.

    You will:

Support the management team in the effective day-to-day running of services.
Participate in the on-call rota, responding to requests for advice, guidance, and support.
Travel between properties during shifts to carry out spot checks and ensure service quality.
Monitor and ensure services are operating safely, effectively, and in line with expected standards.
Oversee shift coordination, ensuring staff duties and responsibilities are clearly allocated.
Maintain high standards of shift leadership, organisation, and delivery of care.
Proactively manage staffing gaps by providing cover or arranging additional support.
Provide day-to-day guidance, leadership, and support to staff on shift.
Support relief and agency staff to integrate effectively into the service.
Promote best practice and ensure consistency in care delivery.
Support staff development through coaching, guidance, and informal supervision.
Provide advice on care planning, safeguarding, and effective home management.
Act as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and values-led practice.

    Working Hours:

    Typical shifts are between 08:00 – 20:00.
    Every other weekend off.
Shifts are non-rotational, but flexibility is essential to meet service needs.

    About You

We are looking for individuals who not only have the right experience but also demonstrate the right values and approach.

    You will:

Demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and the protection of vulnerable adults, including recognising and responding to abuse.
Support service users in a safe, trauma-informed way, ensuring their wellbeing and dignity are always prioritised.
Confidently manage complex behaviours, using a range of appropriate and effective behavioural support strategies.
Apply consistent, calm, and professional approaches when responding to challenging situations.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of individual development needs, ensuring holistic support is delivered.
Promote and meet service users’ physical, emotional, and primary care needs through a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
Contribute to the creation of a positive, person-centred culture within the service.
Act as a positive role model for staff, demonstrating professionalism and values-led practice.
Support and mentor new and existing team members in their development.
Carry out appraisals and regular supervisions, supporting performance, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.

    Experience required:

Mental Health Support – 2 years (required)
Support Environment – 2 years (required)
Learning Disabilities – 1 year (required)
Autism (ASD) – 1 year (required)

    What We Offer

In return for your commitment, Elevate provides:

Comprehensive induction and ongoing training, including therapeutic practice.
    Regular supervision and reflective practice.
Opportunities for career progression and professional development.
    A supportive, values-led team culture.
The opportunity to make a genuine and lasting difference in people’s lives.

    Additional Information

    All staff are expected to:

Work in line with Elevate’s Core Values.
Maintain high standards of care and professionalism.
Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and equality policies.
