Allocations Officer

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Allocations Officer for a local authority in Berkshire.

In this role, you will assess housing applications, determine eligibility and housing need, and allocate social housing.

Duties:

Assess housing applications and determine eligibility and housing need.
Manage housing allocations and make fair, lawful decisions.
Conduct home visits to verify applicants' circumstances and eligibility.
Maintain accurate records and liaise with internal teams and external agencies.Qualifications and Experience:

Experience assessing housing applications and customer needs.
Experience working with vulnerable and challenging customers.
Experience maintaining accurate records and using databases.
Experience working with internal teams and external agencies.What's on offer:

Salary: £25ph+

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
