THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostic work.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work to a high standard
·Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
·Completing vehicle inspections and identifying additional work where required
·Using modern diagnostic equipment to investigate vehicle faults
·Completing repairs efficiently and in line with manufacturer and safety standards
·Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed timeframes
·Maintaining accurate job cards and workshop documentation
·Supporting and mentoring junior or developing Technicians where required
·Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
·Working closely with the wider aftersales and workshop team
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician with:
·Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
·A relevant Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
·Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
·The ability to carry out repairs to a high standard
·A positive and proactive approach to work
·Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
·The ability to work effectively as part of a team
·A willingness to continue learning and developing your technical skills
·A full UK Driving Licence
Experience within a dealership or manufacturer environment would be advantageous, although strong automotive workshop experience will also be considered.
