How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    This role is responsible for managing day-to-day transactional finance processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. You'll support the smooth running of the finance function by ensuring accurate processing, reconciliations, and timely financial administration across the business.

    Description

    The key responsibilities of this Interim Senior Finance Assistant role will be:

    Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
    Managing supplier queries and assisting with invoice reconciliations
    Supporting payment runs and maintaining supplier records
    Raising sales invoices and allocating incoming payments
    Assisting with credit control activities where required
    Reconciling bank accounts and finance transactions
    Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end processes
    Providing general administrative support to the finance team

    Profile

    The successful Interim Senior Finance Assistant should have:

    Strong knowledge of accountancy principles and practices.
    Proficiency in financial software and tools.
    Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
    Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
    Effective communication skills for liaising with team members and stakeholders.
    Experience in VAT returns and financial reporting within the Media & Agency industry.Job Offer
