How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Quality Assurance Coordinator – Drylining

    Location: Bristol

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join a busy construction project in Bristol. Working closely with the site team, you will help ensure drylining works meet the required standards, maintaining clear inspection records and supporting the smooth running of the project.

The role will primarily focus on quality assurance, with some involvement in site logistics. It would suit someone with practical drylining experience, strong attention to detail and confidence using digital systems.

    The Role

You will monitor the quality of installations as work progresses, identify issues and work with supervisors and operatives to ensure they are resolved. Keeping accurate photographic records and updating the project’s online QA portal will be an important part of the position.

Alongside your quality responsibilities, you will assist with coordinating materials, deliveries and work areas, helping the team maintain an organised and efficient site.

    Key responsibilities
Inspect drylining works against project drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
Identify and record defects, following up with site teams to ensure remedial works are completed.
Maintain photographic records of installations at key stages.
Keep the digital QA portal updated with inspection findings and supporting documentation.
Coordinate inspections with supervisors so work is checked before follow-on activities begin.
Support snagging and the preparation of quality records for handover.
Assist with materials coordination, deliveries and general site logistics.
Maintain good working relationships with operatives, subcontractors and the wider project team.
Promote high standards of safety, housekeeping and workmanship.

    About you
A background in drylining is essential. You will need to understand how systems are installed, recognise good workmanship and confidently identify areas that require attention.

You should be organised and comfortable using a phone, tablet or computer to record information and upload photographs. Previous experience with a digital QA platform would be useful, although confidence learning new systems is equally important.

    We are also looking for:

    * An active CSCS card.

    * Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to record-keeping.

    * The ability to read relevant drawings and specifications.

    * Clear communication skills and confidence discussing quality issues with site teams.

    * A practical, proactive approach and willingness to support wider site activities.

    * Previous experience in quality assurance, snagging or drylining supervision would be beneficial.

The position could also suit an experienced dryliner looking to move into a quality-focused role
