Introduction
Majors Builders Merchants are looking for an HGV HIAB Driver to join our team in East London.
The role involves making multi-drop deliveries of building materials using a 26-tonne truck with HIAB.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced driver to join our busy delivery team.
Objectives
You will be responsible for delivering building materials safely and on time to our customers.
You will be working as part of our delivery team and representing Majors Builders Merchants when out on the road.
Responsibilities
* Driving a 26-tonne HGV.
* Carrying out HIAB multi-drop deliveries.
* Loading and unloading building materials.
* Operating the HIAB safely.
* Making deliveries to customers.
* Carrying out basic vehicle checks.
* Following health and safety procedures.
* Providing good customer service.
Requirements
* Valid HGV licence.
* HIAB experience and relevant qualification.
* Previous delivery experience preferred.
* Reliable and punctual.
* Good communication skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good understanding of road and health & safety regulations.
Benefits

* Monday to Friday
* Usual hours 7:00am – 5:30pm
