We’re looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join a busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer who enjoys working in a high-volume production setting and wants to be part of a skilled engineering team.
The Role
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
* Minimise machinery downtime and maximise production efficiency
* Complete preventative maintenance schedules
* Support continuous improvement and engineering projects
* Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all site health & safety procedures
About You
* Previous engineering experience within an FMCG/manufacturing environment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Good mechanical and/or electrical knowledge
* Comfortable working days and nights
* Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
* Ideally qualified to an engineering apprenticeship/City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent level
