Your Responsibilities
As a Nursery Assistant, you will:
Support qualified nursery staff with the care and supervision of children aged 0-5 years.
Help create fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.
Support children's learning, development, and day-to-day routines.
Build positive and trusting relationships with children.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
Assist with mealtimes, personal care, sleep routines, and other daily activities where required.
Follow nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety.
What We're Looking For
A genuine passion for working with young children.
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A willingness to learn and develop your Early Years experience.
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection, or a willingness to learn.
Reliability and a professional approach to work.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
