About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bodyshop Estimator to join our busy and successful accident repair centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who has a strong understanding of vehicle repair methods, estimating systems, and insurance processes.
As a Bodyshop Estimator, you will play a key role in managing repair costs, liaising with customers and insurers, and ensuring repairs are accurately assessed and costed.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates.
Liaise with customers, insurers, engineers, and work providers.
Identify repair methods and required parts.
Monitor repair progress and manage estimate supplements where required.
Ensure all estimates meet manufacturer and insurance company standards.
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the repair process.
Maintain accurate records using estimating and management systems.
Support workshop efficiency and productivity targets.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Previous experience as a Bodyshop Estimator, Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA), or similar role.
Knowledge of vehicle repair methods and accident damage assessment.
Experience using estimating platforms such as Audatex or GT Motive
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
ATA VDA accreditation.
Experience within an insurance-approved accident repair centre.
Knowledge of EV and hybrid vehicle repair processes.
