How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    KS2 Teaching Assistant
    Haringey, North London
    £110 - £125 per day | September Start | Full-Time | Long-Term

    About the Role
    Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming primary school in Haringey to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
    This is a general classroom support role, working alongside the class teacher to support pupils across the KS2 curriculum. A key part of the position will be delivering targeted interventions to individuals and small groups who require additional support with their learning.
    Key responsibilities include:

    Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 2
    Delivering small group and 1:1 interventions
    Providing targeted support in literacy, numeracy, and reading
    Helping pupils who require additional support to close gaps in learning
    Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and engagement
    Supporting the class teacher with activities, resources, and pupil progressThe Ideal Candidate
    The school is looking for someone who:

    Has previous experience working with primary-aged children
    Is confident supporting pupils across the KS2 curriculum
    Can effectively deliver small group interventions
    Is proactive, organised, and enthusiastic
    Has strong communication and teamwork skills
    Is committed to helping pupils make strong academic progressGraduates and candidates with backgrounds in education, psychology, childcare, youth work, or related fields are also encouraged to apply.
