Overview

Responsibilities

As a Cleaner, your key responsibilities will include:

Performing general cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of responsibly.
Maintaining cleanliness in communal areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces.
Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies as needed.
Adhering to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).
A strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
An enhanced DBS check (advantageous but not mandatory).

Day-to-Day

Your day-to-day duties will involve:

Starting your shift by reviewing the cleaning schedule and prioritizing tasks.
Cleaning and sanitizing high-traffic areas to maintain hygiene standards.
Ensuring all cleaning equipment is used and stored correctly.
Communicating with team members or supervisors regarding any issues or additional tasks.
Completing your shift with a final check to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
