How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

As the business continues to grow and progresses its technology towards clinical use, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior RF Design Engineer to join their multidisciplinary engineering team in Dublin.

The successful Senior RF Design Engineer will take technical ownership of RF circuit design and related hardware development across a highly innovative electronic platform. The role will involve the design and development of RF power transmission and wireless communication electronics, working from circuit design and simulation through to PCB development, testing, optimisation and integration.

This is a hands-on position offering significant technical autonomy and would suit an experienced RF Engineer from MedTech, telecoms, wireless communications or another advanced electronic product environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Design and develop RF power transmission and RF communication circuits.

    * Develop analogue/RF electronics from circuit design and simulation through to working hardware.

    * Perform RF analysis, simulation, optimisation and calibration.

    * Design and develop high-speed/RF PCBs and support prototype builds and testing.

    * Carry out failure analysis, hardware testing and product validation using specialist RF laboratory equipment.

    * Work alongside wider electronics, embedded and software engineers on system-level development and integration.

    What We're Looking For:

    * Strong professional experience in RF electronic circuit and hardware design.

    * Good knowledge of analogue/RF design including impedance matching, signal integrity, filters, mixers, LNAs and/or VCOs.

    * Experience with RF simulation, modelling and/or SPICE tools.

    * Hands-on experience using equipment such as spectrum analysers, network analysers and oscilloscopes.

    * Experience with RF/high-speed PCB design and layout; Altium would be advantageous.

Experience in wireless communications, wireless power transmission, embedded electronics and/or EMI/EMC would be highly beneficial
